[Dankira] B's-Log Special Interview: MERRY PANIC

This is an interview of Merry Panic from B's Log. Merry Panic is a team composed of Asahi Sora (CV: Kajiwara Gakuto), Yano Reiji (CV: Muro Genki), and Hinata Mahiru (Kodama Takuya). You can find their character profiles here.


Q: Please introduce your team and the genres you specialize in.

Sora: Haihaihai, ha~i!! I'm the leader, Asahi Sora! Um, our dankira team is called Merry Panic. We specialize in hiphop! It's a really incredibly cheery and spirited dance!

Reiji: I'm Yano Reiji. Sora and Mahiru are in third year junior high while I'm in first year senior high. This year, I was accepted into Flamingo Academy.

Mahiru: I'm Hinata Mahiru~♪ The three of us met in Sheep Manor orphanage and formed this team! We won't lose to anyone when dancing hiphop! Yoroshiku♪



Q: Please tell us your nicknames for or way of calling each other.

Sora: Way of calling each other? Hm...I just call them normally as Reiji and Mahiru. They also call me just Sora! Sometimes, I even forget their surnames!

Mahiru: Eh, meanie~! Well, forget about our surnames, Sora sometimes forget his own surname. The other day, the teacher was calling him, "Asahi-kun, Asahi-kun," but Sora didn't realize at all.

Sora: Eh--? Is that so? I have no recollection of it (*serious*). Just kidding!

Reiji: Sora, you caused trouble for the teacher again...I heard you dozed off during class yesterday, too. Really...prepare yourself for a scolding later.



Q: Please tell us the things you feel you can leave to the members and on the other hand, things you want the members to change.

Reiji: Sora and Mahiru both love Dankira, so they are very enthusiastic during practice. However in everyday things, I can say they haven't grown up a bit, and would be up to some mischief the moment I take my eyes off them, and they don't study at all...the hardships are endless.

Mahiru: Ahh, shut up Reiji! You also have some bad stuff! Reiji is smart but I don't like how he nags so much~. Like did I do my homework or did I not forget anything, everyday he's so persistent!

Sora: But we do forget about things unless he tells us, right! That time Reiji caught a cold and was sick, Mahiru and I totally forgot our homework and the teacher was so angry~.

Reiji: Is that so!? Ngh, how disappointing....I shouldn't have stayed in bed at all.

Mahiru: Well, it can't be helped...Sora and I went together to buy spring onions, make hot water bottles, and flutter about and before we knew it we fell asleep.

Reiji: I-is that so. Well, it can't be helped. Thank you...But, while it seems like a good story, we talk about you forgetting your homework on a weekly basis. Don't even try to fool me.

Sora: Hehe, you found out! Sorry, I'll definitely do mine today!



Q: Speaking of dancing, your body is your capital. In that note, what part of you do you feel comfortable about and how do you maintain your health. On the other hand, which part are you most concerned about?

Mahiru: Of course, it's my style! We move a lot vigorously doing dankira, and recently I've been doing my best with my stretches. I also eat vegetables and healthy foods～♪　On the other hand, I'm most concerned about how I'm not seen as an adult. I also want to try dancing sexy dances like my idol Ageha~.

Sora: It's ok, Mahiru is bigger than I am! I also want to grow bigger, so everyday, I drink milk that I get from my part-time job delivering milk. Ah, I am confident about my capacity to exercise! I climb to the roof and walk on fences/walls during deliveries, and it feels good!

Reiji: You...Don't go destroying other people's buildings. As for me, I don't really have a strong point that's worth bragging about, I just practice while putting emphasis on dance composition research and training plans. I have confidence in my planning abilities, but I'm bad at dealing with unexpected situations.

Sora: Reiji makes our practice menus, but they're all fun! Mahiru and I like staring at each other while doing 100 steps! He'll definitely laugh during it!

Mahiru: I hold it in but Sora makes weird faces! That's really unfair!



Q: Lastly, please give a message to our readers who are looking forward to your dance.

Sora: Um, um, we want to give everyone a lot of energy through our dance so we'll do our best! We'll make it fun enough that you can dance with us, too, so give us a lot of support!

Reiji: We are still a bit inadequate, but in order to meet everyone's expectations, we'll continue to work hard on our practice and dankira. Please take care of us from now on.
