BAE: An international group that plays music which is the "proof of their existence"

 

Q: First, please tell us about your song and a must-listen highlight from it.

Allen: I got a flash of inspiration for this song in the club's dressing room and I immediately wrote it at that moment. I loosely laid the rap on an energetic base track and doubled it for a greater sense of the flow of the song. The song is polished off with intentionally simple lyrics so the hook can be easily integrated. We intend to make everyone feel BAE's charms in this performance, too.

 

Q: For this battle, the theme is DESIRE. What do you guys desire?

Ann: Our desire is to leave a mark in the hip-hop scene. We write music regularly in order to make our existence known to this world. I think that by winning Paradox Live, we can show a proof of our true abilities.

Allen: Ann, it's not "we can show proof" but "it is a proof" right?

Ann: Ah yeah, you're right.

 

Q: What do you think of your rivals this time, cozmez?

Allen: Honestly, I think they're a tough rival. But I intend to hit them head-on with all of my strength without destroying BAE's style.

Hajun: Well, there is no way we are gonna lose.

 

Q: If you can only use a word or short phrase to describe BAE, what would it be?

Hajun: Kinda like coworkers, I guess? Our goals are similar, so we are naturally able to make music and walk in the same direction together.

 

Q: Lastly, please leave a message for the fans of BAE.

Allen: This is our first Paradox Live so frankly, I'm nervous...but we will give the best performance so I'll be happy if you could cheer for us.

Ann: You can't pass up on seeing how cool we are, right?

Hajun: With your support, we'll be able to shine even more. We plan to have a stage you've never seen before so kidaehaseyo (please anticipate it).

Kanata: Must-listen highlight? Of course it's the entire song. Just shut up and listen to it.

 

Q: For this battle, the theme is DESIRE. What do you guys desire?

Nayuta: Money.

 

Q: What do you think of your rivals this time, BAE?

Kanata: Well...those guys are a lot chewier than I thought. Doesn't concern us though. We'll crush them.

 

Q: What a lot of confidence! By the way, what is cozmez's existence to you?

Nayuta: We don't think of stuff like existence. We are what we are.

Kanata: You can tell just by looking at us, right? Next question.
